Cake Pops Recipe: Cream and Cookies Cake Pops
Cake Mix
I think the basic chocolate cake mix is the best one to use when you make cream and cookies cake pops. Off course you can use any cake mix you desire but on my opinion this is the best one. To make this chocolate cake mix you need:
- 1/4 cup plain flour
- 1 cup soft butter
- 3/4 cup caster sugar
- 1.5 table spoon baking powder
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup milk
Put all the ingredients into your food processor and give it a good shake for about 2-3 minutes. Add some vanilla or chocolate pudding also if you want to alter the taste and create a denser cake.
Poor the mixture to your Bake Pops pan and let it cook in the oven.
Decoration
For decoration you need:
- White candy coating
- Crushed chocolate cookies
Dip your cake pops in melted white candy coating. Scatter the crunched cookies onto the coating while the coating is still wet. Simple as that, enjoy!
Cake Pops Recipe: Birthday Party Pops
Another cake pops recipe I really like is birthday party pops. Actually I made these just recently for my sons birthday and everybody loved them.
Cake Mix
I recommend using the basic cake mix for birthday pops. To make this you need:
- 1 cup sugar

- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup soft butter
- 1,5 table spoon vanilla essence
- 1,5 table spoon baking powder
- 2 eggs
Cream the butter and the sugar in a bowl. Add the eggs and mix. After that add the vanilla essence, flour and the baking powder. Mix carefully with a metal spoon.
Again poor the mixture to your Bake Pops pan and let it cook.
Decoration
For decoration you need:
- Chocolate candy coating
- Multi-colour and assorted shape sprinkles and/or candies
Dip cake pops in melted chocolate candy coatings and again scatter the sprinklers onto the coating while it´s still wet. If you want to add dots or other large shapes, simply use a toothpick or squeeze bottle to place small amount of coating on pop. Then place the sprinkles on top.
