Cake pops are the rages of the hour and sell for 2 to 3 dollars at the confectioners and bakers. Many of you know about cake pops, but those who do not know what exactly the cake pops are; well, they are simply bite sized rounded cakes that are dipped in various flavored sauces, particularly melted chocolate and stuck on to a lollipop stick!

They are really cute and extraordinarily tasty treats and a fantastic option for the conventional cakes. These make for an excellent item of a menu for any party, and when holidays start, everyone is holding so many parties and other exciting events. What is better than cake pops for dessert?

Know how cake pops are made? It’s easy. Get to bake any cake you like. When it is cool, crumble it and mix it with frosting and shape it into tiny balls. Leave them in the freezer to set and then coat them with chocolate sauce. The result is simply yum! When you learn the easy process of making, it’s amazing how much time you would love to spend making them and what a terrific hit it turns out to be with everyone who has a taste of it.

In case you are proficient at cake baking at home, you should probably use the bake pops pans that you could easily obtain through online orders. They help you save precious time.

All you need is cake mixes along with the frosting that is available widely in any store, or go ahead and make your cake with your very own recipe. What makes this cake pop so attractive is the variety of variations and combinations that can be created with different flavors of cake, and dips.

No matter how you make them, they taste simply delicious. Initially, you may be a wee bit overwhelmed about the whole process, but soon you will find that it is a cake walk making them, as there is no dearth of recipes on the Internet for you to try out.

Just throw your head back, and relax for a couple of minutes and think, and wonderful cake pop ideas just flit across your mind making you eager to start making a set. You can make cake pop for any and every occasion, like Christmas cake pops, Halloween cake pops; Easter’s cakes pop. Valentine’s Day cake pops and so on and so forth. In fact, any occasion will give you the opportunity to make cake pop.

If your little girl is celebrating her birthday soon, why not serve cake pops instead of the traditional cake. It’s different, and the kids would just love the change. Choose the shades and the flavors to suit the theme of the party. In fact, you could even pack them up separately for guests as a little thank you gift or even for favors given. Imagine how excited your daughter would feel if she were to offer cake pops at school for her birthday rather than the age-old toffees or chocolates.

Another lovely idea would be to offer someone a beautiful bouquet of cake pops. All beautifully wrapped to look like a real bunch; you can rest assured that the receiver would be thrilled no end.

I you are one who has never made cake pop before, you have enough cake pop ideas to get you started. So then, why not get going?

Cake Pops Recipe Tips

Cake pops are fun little treats to make for any kind of parties or whenever you like. I decided to share some of my favorite cake pops recipe tips for you to try out.

When I make cake pops I always use my Bake Pops set to prepare them. With it my cake pops come out perfect every time and look as cute as they do in shop.I never thought it would be so easy to make them at home before I started using Bake Pops. Here´s the link for you if you want to learn more about Bake Pops: Click HERE to learn more about Bake Pops.

Cake Pops Recipe: Cream and Cookies Cake Pops

Cake Mix

I think the basic chocolate cake mix is the best one to use when you make cream and cookies cake pops. Off course you can use any cake mix you desire but on my opinion this is the best one. To make this chocolate cake mix you need:

3/4 cup cocoa powder

1/4 cup plain flour

1 cup soft butter

3/4 cup caster sugar

1.5 table spoon baking powder

1 egg

1/2 cup milk

Put all the ingredients into your food processor and give it a good shake for about 2-3 minutes. Add some vanilla or chocolate pudding also if you want to alter the taste and create a denser cake.

Poor the mixture to your Bake Pops pan and let it cook in the oven.

Decoration

For decoration you need:

White candy coating

Crushed chocolate cookies

Dip your cake pops in melted white candy coating. Scatter the crunched cookies onto the coating while the coating is still wet. Simple as that, enjoy!

Cake Pops Recipe: Birthday Party Pops

Another cake pops recipe I really like is birthday party pops. Actually I made these just recently for my sons birthday and everybody loved them.

Cake Mix

I recommend using the basic cake mix for birthday pops. To make this you need:

1 cup sugar

1 cup flour

1 cup soft butter

1,5 table spoon vanilla essence

1,5 table spoon baking powder

2 eggs

Cream the butter and the sugar in a bowl. Add the eggs and mix. After that add the vanilla essence, flour and the baking powder. Mix carefully with a metal spoon.

Again poor the mixture to your Bake Pops pan and let it cook.

Decoration

For decoration you need:

Chocolate candy coating

Multi-colour and assorted shape sprinkles and/or candies

Dip cake pops in melted chocolate candy coatings and again scatter the sprinklers onto the coating while it´s still wet. If you want to add dots or other large shapes, simply use a toothpick or squeeze bottle to place small amount of coating on pop. Then place the sprinkles on top.

Making cake pops is fun and it´s also very easy especially when you make them with Bake Pops set. If you don´t have Bake Pops set yet, here´s the link for you where you can buy it: Click HERE to order Bake Pops . Check out also my Bake Pops review for more info. It really makes it more easy to make cake pops with it and saves you a lot of time also

I hope you like my cake pops recipe tips. I´ll be adding some more recipes soon so keep on checking back.

You can make them look and taste like pretty much anything you can imagine.

But how to make cake pops? How can you make them look so cute and delicious as they do for example at Starbucks?

There are many ways to make cake pops but on my opinion the easiest and most fun way is to prepare them with Bake Pops pan. It saves you a lot of time and they come out perfect every time. I love Bake Pops and I actually make different kind of cake pops with it almost every weekend for my husband and kids.
How To Make Cake Pops The Traditional Way?

I know there are some of you who want to know how to make cake pops the traditional way. It´s a lot more time consuming and difficult, but here´s how I used to make cake pops before I found Bake Pops:

Bake a small cake with your favorite cake mixture. You may bake the cake day before if you like.

Crumble your cake to small crumps.

Add frosting to your crumbled cake until it´s moist. Be careful to not make it mushy though, because if it´s too mushy, it will not stay on the sticks.

To firm up your mixture, refrigerate it for about half an hour.

Make small balls out of the mixture.

Insert sticks to your cake pops and dip em for example in melted candy.

Decorate.

How To Make Cake Pops With Bake Pops Pan?

When you buy a set of Bake Pops, you get a Bake Pop pan, wraps and ties, 18 reusable pop sticks, 1 squeeze bottle for decoration and a decorating idea guide also.

Making cake pops whit this set is super super easy. All you have to do is follow these 3 easy steps:

Mix up your favorite cake mixture and fill the pan with it.

Put the pan in the oven and let them cook.

Let your cake pops cool down and decorate the way you like.

That´s how easy it is. You can not go wrong with Bake Pops.

Here´s a great video for you about how to use Bake Pops pan.

And decoration..

Like I mentioned earlier there´s is about a million ways to decorate your cake pops. Just use your imagination and try different mixtures to find your favorite. Check out also my cake pops recipe tips to find out my favorite mixtures and decorating ideas.

I´ve made cake pops both the hard and the easy way before, but what I found out was that with Bake Pops you get better results at the end. Your cake pops taste pretty much the same off course, but with this pan you can save a lot of time and make your pops look way better than before. I give my thumbs up for Bake Pops!
